[#12 -log 2편] 이제는 외우자 physiology, psychology... OO학 시리즈

 

 

-log 2편에서는 총 6개의 단어 geology, physiology, psychology, biology, sociology, theology에 대해서 살펴보겠습니다. 정확한 뜻은 모르더라도 -logy로 끝나면 학문을 의미하는 단어일 것이라는 추측은 가능하실 텐데요. log에 '생각'이라는 의미가 담겨있기 때문입니다.

 

 

예를 들어 오늘 살펴볼 단어 중 하나인 geology의 경우 geo(땅) + logy(생각)가 합쳐져 땅에 대한 생각, 즉 지질학이라는 의미를 가집니다. 비교적 자주 접하는 학문 명을 -log 2편과 3편, 총 두 편에 걸쳐 알아보도록 하겠습니다. 🙆
